Thanksgiving

Our trip to LA was great- this is shopping on Black Friday!

The Vegas Mini Marathon

I ran the Las Vegas Mini Marathon today! 13.1 miles!!
It was Vegas at its best- Elvis drinking beer, lots of brides and grooms- you could get married at one of the mile markers, show girls ( I even saw a girl run in platforms!)

Church Happenings

This is our stage design right now... I'm excited about Christmas.
We have done some cool stuff on a low budget!

Were calling Christmas at The Crossing "Simple Christmas"
We had a big serve push that I was really excited about.
Over 250 people signed up to serve in different opportunities throughout the valley.

I direct our services once a month.

UNLV vs. UNR Game

Nate went to the game with some guys from church but I met up with him!

I went with Renee (left) and we met Angie (girls from school) to tailgate.
It was a lot of fun. I saw in the student section and it was crazy!

The Fam

Busy Busy

These are the boys I stay with when there mom is out of town.
they have two sisters too.
My family was in town this weekend (minus Fred) and I have good pictures to come.
We had a great time and I was SO glad Zach got to finally come out.

San Gennaro Feast

Nate and I went to an Italian festival last night.
It was fun. We didn't really do anything 'Italian' we ate a funnel cake
and rode a Ferris Wheel! It was fun, our first ferris wheel ride together.
Today is our nephews 1st birthday. Happy Birthday Blake!!
Hopefully his dad will send us pictures soon- we will post!

Trip to Indiana and then Kentucky!

I also got to see my friend Shannon and cousin Megan!

Steph, Bethany (not in the picture), and I got to do the guest book at Shanele and Aaron's wedding. It was so good to see old friends and the bride was beautiful!

Zach is getting huge!

It was so good to see Blake (and his parents...) He is almost 1, September 14th!

Life update

So I am going to Indiana tomorrow to see friends and for a wedding. The to Lexington for a few days. I would love to see everyone but I don't have a lot of time- so please give me a call and come see me!!! I'll be hanging out with my family!

Nate however will be in Vegas, they have Student Ministry Sunday so you can watch him LIVE here. It only works during the service and he will be playing worship at the beginning and end. Our service times are 8:30, 10, 11:30 which is 11:30, 1, 2:30 in Kentucky!!

Pray for him as he prepares for this Sunday and for safe travels for me!

We have a great group of students and God is really working in their lives.

Prayer

Nate is gone this week to Middle school camp. He called this morning and it rocks!

He can see the beach from the chapel (they get to go everyday) and there are lots of fun activities going on. Most important though be praying for safe travels this week.

- That our students hearts are open to what God wants to teach them

- That the leaders are used in the students lives.

- Pray for God's healing in each students life.

Next week were off to CIY (I get to go to this one!) and then my family is in town!

Pray me through my last week of Math class- my final is Friday!

Trip to San Diego

We went to a Padres game. Its a great stadium.

And it was throw back night!

We also went to the beach and Old town to eat mexican.
